Since I haven't sewn in over a year, I am feeling really ashamed, so I have been ebaying vintage patterns to give myself some projects. I can't wait to go to the fabric store. I am the type of designer that gets my best inspiration from perusing fabric stores. The best fabric store I have ever been to is Britex in San Francisco. It's 4 stories!!! Much too expensive if you're not experienced, but they have an incredible selection of fabrics imported from Europe. The 2nd best fabric store I have been to is Mood in New York. It has gained much noteriety from being featured on Bravo's Project Runway. They have a floor just for home fabrics and it makes me want to have 10 houses so I can decorate them in fabrics from Mood. I am so excited to find that there is a Mood in LA. I can't wait to explore the garment district in LA and find decently priced fabric stores. Anyhow, above are some of the patterns I won from ebay.
